This policy describes the privacy practices of the "Pongdangbyul" app (the "App").
1. Information We Collect
1-1. Advertising Identifier (IDFA/GAID)
- •Used by Google AdMob to show ads and grant rewards.
- •Ad formats: bottom banner and rewarded ads (refill plays / free draw).
- •On iOS we request App Tracking Transparency (ATT) consent; in regions such as the EEA we present a UMP consent flow.
- •The app works fully even if you decline; non-personalized ads may be shown.
1-2. Global Ranking Data (optional)
- •Nickname: a display name you enter or accept from suggestions. It is shown publicly on the ranking screen.
- •Game score and highest celestial body reached: with a nickname set, runs that set a new personal best are submitted to the ranking automatically.
- •Planets used (equipped skins) and their levels: cosmetic info sent along for the ranking detail view.
- •Device token: a random identifier generated by the app, used solely to verify nickname ownership (it cannot identify you or your device).
- •IP hash: a one-way hash stored only for abuse prevention (rate limiting). The original IP address is never stored.
- •Ranking is optional — if you skip nickname setup, nothing is sent to our server.
2. Information We Do NOT Collect
- •Game progress data — collection, levels, Nebula Dust — is stored only on your device (the only server-side data is the ranking data described in 1-2).
- •No accounts, no logins — the nickname is a ranking display name, not an account.
- •No analytics, behavioral tracking, or usage monitoring.
- •No personally identifiable information such as name, email, phone number, or location.
3. Data Storage & Deletion
Game progress data (collection, levels, Nebula Dust) is stored only on your device. Only the ranking data you submit (nickname, score, highest body reached, equipped skins) is stored on our server (Neon PostgreSQL, hosted on Vercel) to provide the global leaderboard.
How to delete your data:
- Uninstalling the app removes all on-device data automatically
- To delete your ranking entries (nickname and scores), contact us below with your nickname and we will remove them promptly
4. Device Permissions
- •Internet: Used for loading ads and for the global ranking.
- •App Tracking (iOS, optional): Used to access the advertising identifier for personalized ads. The app works fully if you decline.
5. Third-Party Services
The App shares limited data with the following third-party services:
- •Google AdMob (advertising): advertising identifier and device information.
- •Vercel · Neon (server hosting): storage and processing of global ranking data (nickname, score, highest body reached, equipped skins).

6. Your Rights
You can reset your ad ID or opt out of personalized ads in your device settings:
- iOS: Settings > Privacy > Tracking
- Android: Settings > Google > Ads
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your data under applicable laws such as GDPR and CCPA. You can also request nickname changes or deletion, and report inappropriate nicknames, using the contact below.
7. Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe such information has been collected, please contact us and we will delete it immediately.
8. Policy Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Significant changes will be announced in the app or on this page in advance.
