"Dino Village" (the "App") has no sign-up or login, and the developer never directly collects your personal information or receives it on a server. However, the ads at the bottom of the screen are shown by Google AdMob, and Google processes the information needed to show them (see Section 4).
1. Information the Developer Collects
None. The developer runs no servers and does not receive your name, contact details, location, photos, or anything similar.
2. What Stays on Your Device
To let you continue your game, the following is stored only on your device. It is not sent to anyone, including the developer.•Game progress (collected fossil shards, dinosaurs, codex records, current village)•Sound and background music on/off settings
Deleting the app deletes this information too. However, it may be included with other app data in any device backup you have turned on (iCloud Backup, Android device backup), which follows your device maker's and operating system's backup policies. The developer has no access to these backups.
3. Notifications
To let you know when an egg hatches, the app schedules notifications on your device only if you allow it. Notifications contain no personal information and do not go through any server. You can turn them off anytime in your device settings.
3-1. Sharing Village Photos
Village photos taken with "Show off" are created on your device and sent only to the destination you choose in your device's share sheet (messages, saving to Photos, etc.). A photo contains only the game screen plus the village name, number of dinosaurs, and date, and the developer never receives it. When you save to Photos, iOS asks for permission to add photos; the app never reads your photos.
3-2. Reading Dinosaur Names Aloud
The codex feature that reads dinosaur names aloud uses the text-to-speech (TTS) function installed on your device. The only text the app passes to it is the dinosaur's name, and nothing is sent to the developer.
4. Ads (Google AdMob)
The app shows Google AdMob banner ads at the bottom of the screen. Full-screen
rewarded ads appear
only when you tap a "Watch ad …" button yourself; watching to the end gives you an in-game reward (an egg, fossil shards, a shorter hatch time, etc.). To load ads the app connects to the internet, and Google may process information such as:
•Device information (model, operating system, language) and approximate region inferred from your IP address•Advertising identifier (such as the Android Advertising ID) — used to keep the same ad from showing too often, prevent fraudulent clicks, and measure ad performance•Records of ads viewed or tappedThe app
does not request personalized ads and limits ads to
general audiences (G rating). On iOS, the app does not request App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission.
Users in the European Economic Area, the UK, and Switzerland are asked for consent before ads load, and can change their choice anytime in the app under "Info › Ad privacy settings".
How Google processes this information is described in:
•Google Privacy Policy: policies.google.com/privacy•How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites5. International Transfer of Personal Information
To show ads, the information in Section 4 is transferred abroad.
•Recipient: Google LLC (contact: see policies.google.com/privacy)•Destination: the United States and other countries where Google operates servers•When and how: transmitted over the network each time the app loads an ad•Items: device information, IP address, advertising identifier, records of ads viewed or tapped•Purpose: showing ads, limiting repeats of the same ad, preventing fraudulent clicks, measuring ad performance•Retention: according to Google's policies•How to refuse and what happens: turning off your internet connection (e.g. airplane mode) stops the transfer — the game keeps working and only the ads stop appearing. On Android, you can reset or delete your Advertising ID under Settings › Google › Ads.6. Payments
There are no in-app purchases.
7. Age
The content is suitable for everyone, but because the app contains ads it is not directed at children under 14. If a child uses the app, please use it together with a parent or guardian.
8. Third Parties
Google (AdMob) processes the information in Section 4 in order to show ads. No personal information is provided to or processed by any other third party.
9. Your Rights
Because the developer keeps no personal information, there is nothing to request access to, correct, or delete from the developer. The game records on your device are erased when you delete the app. For information processed by Google, you can stop the transfer or delete your Advertising ID as described in Section 5, and make any other requests to Google.

11. Changes
If this policy changes, we will announce it in the app and on this page along with the new effective date.
