Fossil shards collect on their own until you can take out an egg. Tap, tap, tap — the shell cracks and a baby dinosaur pops out. The first time you meet a species, a card shows its name and rarity.
🌱 Wait and they grow
Babies slowly grow into adults, and keep growing a little after that. Time passes even while the app is closed, so the dinosaurs born and grown while you were away are waiting when you return.
🏝️ 11 villages, 99 species
From large theropods to pterosaurs and marine reptiles, every lineage has its own village — marine reptiles even swim in an undersea village. Start in the village you like and choose which one to open next.
📖 Codex & legendary dinosaurs
Every dinosaur you meet is recorded in the codex. Collect babies and adults in all four colors, and a hidden legendary dinosaur appears in each village. The codex can also read dinosaur names aloud.

Use the camera button to snap your village, decorate it like a postcard, and send it to family and friends.
☕ Take it easy
No in-app purchases. Watch an ad only if you want an extra egg or a shorter wait. The game runs offline (only ads need the internet), and you get a notification when an egg hatches.
📖 How to Play
From shard to dinosaur
Fossil shards collect on their own. They come a little faster as you fill the codex.
Spend shards to take out an egg and bury it in the village. You can bury several at once.
After a while the egg hatches into a baby. The first egg is quick; later eggs take a bit longer.
Babies grow into adults. Dinosaurs that grew while you were away become adults right in front of you when you return.
All of this continues while the app is closed. Shards accumulate for up to 8 hours.
Villages & codex
11 lineages — large theropods, small theropods, feathered dinosaurs, ceratopsians, pachycephalosaurs, stegosaurs, ankylosaurs, sauropods, ornithopods, pterosaurs, and marine reptiles.
Each time you meet six species as adults in your open villages, you pick one more village to open.
Every species has a baby and an adult form in four colors. Meeting a new color or form fills another slot.
Rarity
Eight species per village hatch from eggs. The rarer the dinosaur, the later it tends to appear.
One per village, hatching only from the mysterious egg that appears once the codex is complete.

Q. Is the game available in English?
Not yet. All in-game text is currently in Korean only.
Q. What happens to my dinosaurs while the app is closed?
Time keeps passing while the app is closed — fossil shards pile up, eggs hatch, and babies grow. When you come back, the game shows you everything that happened at once. Shards accumulate for up to 8 hours.
Q. How do I open new villages?
You start by choosing any village you like. Each time you meet six species as adults in your open villages, you get to pick one more village to open. Every village opens without payment or ads.
Q. How do I meet legendary dinosaurs?
Fill every slot in the codex — babies and adults of every non-legendary species in all four colors — and a mysterious egg appears in each village. Mysterious eggs hatch after 8 hours. Legendary dinosaurs never come from regular eggs.
Q. Will I be notified when an egg hatches?
Yes. When you take out your second egg, the app asks once for notification permission. If you allow it, your device alerts you when an egg hatches. Notifications are scheduled on the device only and never go through a server. You can turn them off anytime in your device settings, and the game works the same without them.
Q. How do I turn the sound off?
Turning off the sound button at the top of the codex screen mutes everything — effects, background music, and name reading. To mute only the music, tap the music button next to it. On iPhone, the silent switch also mutes the game.
Q. Why can't I hear dinosaur names read aloud?
The codex reads dinosaur names using the Korean text-to-speech voice installed on your device. On some Android devices without a Korean voice, the button is hidden. Names aren't read while sound is off or while an ad is showing.
Q. Are there in-app purchases?
No. Dino Village is free with no purchases and no login, and is supported by ads. A banner ad sits at the very bottom of the screen.
Q. Do I have to watch rewarded ads?
No. They play only when you tap a "Watch ad …" button yourself, and every dinosaur and village can be unlocked without ads. Ads just shorten the wait a little — hatch an egg now (5 per day), get an egg (3 per day), get shards (5 per day), and double the shards you collected while away (3 per day).
Q. Where is my progress saved?
Your shards, dinosaurs, codex, and current village are stored only on this device. Nothing is sent to the developer's servers, and uninstalling the app deletes it. There are no accounts, so there is no transfer feature, but if you use iCloud Backup or Android device backup, your progress may come along when you restore a new device from that backup (subject to your operating system's backup policy).
Q. Can I play without an internet connection?
Yes. The whole game works offline. An internet connection is only needed to load ads.
Q. Is it suitable for children?
The content is suitable for everyone, but because the app contains ads it isn't designed as a children's app. It only accepts general-audience (G-rated) ads and never requests personalized ads. If a child plays, please play together with a parent or guardian.

Email us at the contact below. Including the version shown when you tap the "i" button at the top right of the codex screen, along with your device model, helps us look into it faster.
