Q. What's the difference between D-Day and D+?
D-Day shows days remaining as a negative count (D-30 = 30 days to go). D+ shows days elapsed since a date as a positive count (D+100 = 100 days since). For example, 100 days dating is D+100, 30 days before an exam is D-30.
Q. Can I track multiple D-Days at once?
Yes — save events (birthdays, exams, trips, weddings) as favourites and they all count down side by side. Data lives in your browser only; nothing is sent to a server.
Q. Is the countdown live to the second?
Yes. While the page is open the count refreshes every second and the progress bar fills accordingly, perfect for upcoming exams or trips.
Q. Can I share a D-Day with friends or my partner?
Hit Share Link to copy the URL — anyone opening it sees the same live countdown. Great for couple anniversaries or shared travel dates.
Q. How does the calculator count "day 0" versus "day 1"?
It uses pure date difference (today = 0). If you need a 1-based count like "the 100th day of dating", just add 1 to the result.
Q. Does it also do "N days from this date"?
Yes — pick a base date and enter a number of days; the calculator returns the date N days before or after. Useful for "what date is 1000 days after I was born?"
