Q. How long should a password be?
Minimum 12 chars, recommended 16+. 16 chars across all four classes (upper/lower/digits/symbols) takes billions of years to brute-force.
Q. Why exclude look-alike characters?
0 vs O, 1 vs l vs I are confusing when handwritten or printed. Enable the exclude option if you'll transcribe it.
Q. Should I use this instead of LastPass/1Password?
This only generates — it doesn't store. Generate here and save in a manager (or only for rarely-changed sites).
Q. How is password strength rated?
zxcvbn algorithm scores 0-4. 16 chars with all four classes always hits 4 (very strong).
Q. Can I reuse passwords across sites?
Never. One leak compromises everything. Generate unique passwords per site.
Q. Does the browser save my password?
This generator doesn't. Anything you copy lives only in your clipboard — paste it and save in a manager immediately.
